Superblack - a dark, moody and atmospheric fashion film in black and white, inspired by the aesthetics of Film Noir and Nouvelle Vague.
Shot with a handful of young and up-and-coming models, we tried to evoke the melancholic state of adolescence: the idleness and just killing time, waiting for something to happen.
Our band of misfits were shot whilst hanging out inside and on the roof of the former post office railway station at the edge of Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.
We composed a soundtrack consisting of drifting soundscapes, reverberated and delayed piano and guitar tones combined with gritty and eerie synth pads.
